Challenge and solution
For our client — Lhoist in Zdzieszowice — we produced an illuminated sign together with a logo, mounted on a steel lattice frame. The key challenge was setting the structure on the façade of a silo at about 60 metres above ground. The installation required durable, safe attachment to the load-bearing structure of the building, taking the industrial conditions into account. An additional difficulty was providing adequate access for installation, which meant sourcing a specialised cherry picker with sufficient reach. The whole operation required precise planning and the highest safety standards.
We designed an individual mounting system based on a steel lattice frame that allowed the sign to be safely and durably attached to the silo’s load-bearing structure. The structure was correctly dimensioned and prepared with loads and the conditions at height in mind. To carry out the work we used a specialised cherry picker with a long reach, which allowed precise installation. The installation was carried out in stages, observing the highest standards of safety and accuracy. The result is a stable, durable and highly visible realisation, fully adapted to demanding industrial conditions.

The realisation ended with a stable, durable installation of the illuminated sign, which is clearly visible even from a long distance. The project confirmed our experience working at height and in demanding industrial conditions. The solutions applied delivered structural safety and long-term operation without the need for intervention in the building. The result is an aesthetic, legible display that underlines the character of the site and reinforces the client’s visual identity.
